How do I install Metaprompt?

Add it from the Chrome Web Store. Once installed, highlight any text on any web page and a small icon appears above your selection. Click it to get an answer.

Do I need an account?

Yes, a free account. Sign in with a magic link (no password) from the Account page, then highlight away.

How much does it cost?

It's free. The fastest, instant answers are free for your first 10 uses; after that you can keep using the standard tier for free, or upgrade to Pro for unlimited instant answers.

Why isn't the icon showing up?

Make sure you're on a normal web page (not the Chrome Web Store, chrome:// settings, or a PDF viewer). Try refreshing the page. If you just installed the extension, reload any tabs that were already open.

Is my data safe?

We only send the text you highlight (plus a little page context) to generate an answer, and we store your answers so you can see them in History. We don't track your browsing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my data?

Email us at hello@rjbernaldo.com and we'll delete your account and answer history.
