Terms of Service
Last updated: July 20, 2026
The service
Metaprompt is a Chrome extension that answers text you highlight on web pages. By installing it or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You sign in with your email via a magic link. You're responsible for keeping access to your email secure. One account per person.
Acceptable use
Don't use Metaprompt to break the law, abuse the service, attempt to overload or reverse engineer it, or generate harmful or infringing content. We may suspend accounts that do.
Plans and payment
Metaprompt is free to use. The fastest, instant answers are free for a limited number of uses; beyond that, standard answers remain free and a paid Pro plan (when available) unlocks unlimited instant answers. Paid terms and billing details will be presented at checkout when Pro launches.
AI-generated answers
Answers are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Don't rely on them for professional, legal, medical, or financial decisions. You're responsible for how you use the output.
Availability
We provide the service "as is" and may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Metaprompt is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
